Growing up, Jose knew there would be no limit to what he could achieve if he was able to immigrate to America. At 18 years old, Jose embarked upon his journey and came to DC with just $3 in his pocket. Starting as a laborer, he learned construction trades and in 1972 he launched Fort Myer Construction with a friend. By building a company rooted in helping others achieve their own American Dream, Fort Myer Construction has grown to be one of the most successful infrastructure construction companies in the region.
